I am Dr. Rene Flores A., psychiatrist, and President of the Peruvian Society of Medical Sexology. I am also a member of The Medical Catholic Association in Peru. Next year, in March, from the 10th to the 14th, I will attending the Congress of the World Association of Sexology ( WAS ), which will be held in La Habana, Cuba.
I know from experience of past meetings there will be many participants who will make many false and wrong comments on Catholic teachings on sex education, abortion, pedophilia and other issues. The voice of the Catholic health professionals are a very small minority. I hope that some of our colleagues in FIAMC can attend this meeting and help to correct these prevailing misintepretation of Catholic doctrines. We really need your support.
